Job Title: Respiratory Care Therapist (CRT) Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a NICU setting License: Active state license required Certifications: BLS, CRT, NRP Must-Have: NICU experience required Description: The position requires an RRT or CRT with NICU experience. NRP certification is required. Candidates must possess a valid state license. Weekend rotation is required. Travel experience is mandatory. Charting system experience is necessary. Candidates should have experience with the following skills: - Adult Critical Care - Aerosol setup - Capillary blood gases - Direct intubation (neonatal) - Patient transport (inter-departmental and ambulance) - Tracheostomy care/management - Weaning from mechanical ventilation Additional responsibilities may include assisting in high-risk deliveries and performing various respiratory procedures. Candidates should be prepared to float within the facility as needed. This role requires the handling of patients across various age groups, including neonates and pediatrics. The position offers interdisciplinary support with various departments and teams. Candidates will be required to manage a diverse range of patient diagnoses and conditions.
